Tax Officer

Responsibilities

• Preparing and filing accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax, and other relevant tax obligations
• Conducting tax planning and research to identify tax-saving opportunities and minimise the company's tax liabilities
• Liaising with tax authorities and representing the company in tax audits and investigations
• Providing expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters
• Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations, and ensuring the company's compliance
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports with accurate tax information
• Collaborating with the finance team to ensure the integration of tax-related data and processes
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a tax officer or tax compliance role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax-related information
• Proficient in tax software and technology tools, with strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance
