Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee tax compliance activities across all entities within the Bukalapak Group, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of tax obligations.
- Review business agreements, commercial transactions, and business processes to identify tax implications and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Provide tax advisory and strategic recommendations to support business initiatives while mitigating tax risks.
- Review, prepare, and coordinate responses to inquiries, assessments, and official correspondence from the Indonesian Tax Authority.
- Lead and manage tax audits, including coordinating with internal stakeholders and tax authorities to ensure efficient audit resolution.
- Monitor changes in Indonesian tax regulations and ensure timely implementation across the organization.
- Develop, review, and periodically update tax policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Drive tax initiatives and process improvements to strengthen tax governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to provide tax guidance and support business decision-making.
- Lead, coach, and develop the tax team to achieve organizational and professional goals.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree and/or professional tax certifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in taxation.
- Experience in corporate tax compliance, tax advisory, and tax risk management.
- Proven experience in handling tax audits and liaising with tax authorities.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to review and interpret business agreements from a tax perspective.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to regulatory changes.
