Job Description
Join DDTC Tax Dispute & Litigation team and gain practical experience in supporting tax dispute and litigation processes. As your understanding develops, you will gradually be involved in more substantive work, including supporting objection and appeal processes.
Job Description:
- Support technical and administrative work related to tax dispute processes, including data checking and tax reconciliation (equalization).
- Assist in preparing initial drafts of formal documents related to tax dispute processes.
- Support the preparation of documents and exhibits for tax objections, appeals, and judicial reviews.
- Gradually contribute to more substantive tax dispute work, including supporting objection and appeal proceedings and assisting in the preparation of final submissions.
- Collaborate with senior team members and follow guidance throughout the process while developing an understanding of the substance and legal basis of each assignment.
Candidate Qualification:
- Final-year student or fresh graduate in Taxation, Accounting, Law, or related fields (must have completed all classes).
- Basic understanding of taxation; Tax Brevet A/B certification is a plus.
- Internship or organizational experience in taxation is a plus.
- Good command of English (spoken & written).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and willing to understand the substance behind the work.
- Able to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, and open to feedback.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Willingness to grow and adapt is essential.
