Job Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle tax administration in strict accordance with Indonesian tax regulations. Accrue, calculate, file, and pay all tax types on time to ensure zero late filings and zero non-compliance.
- Manage the review, issuance, collection, and ledger maintenance of electronic tax invoices (e-Faktur). Reconcile input and output tax data, handle differences between tax and accounting records, and ensure consistency between financial and tax data.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual tax self-assessments. Identify tax-related risks, standardize tax processes within business operations, and provide proactive tax compliance guidance for business activities, promotions, and interest subsidy programs.
- Organize and archive tax vouchers and related documents. Assist in the annual tax finalization and settlement. Liaise with the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) for inquiries and document submission, and independently handle routine tax audits and verifications.
- Conduct basic tax planning based on company operations to optimize the overall tax burden and mitigate penalties. Monitor updates to Indonesian tax policies, implement necessary internal compliance adjustments, and complete other tax-related tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Financial Management is preferred.
- Experience in tax handling within finance, financial leasing, or auto finance industries is preferred. Must have independently completed annual tax settlements, liaised during tax audits, and managed input tax.
- Fluent in Indonesian (reading and writing); able to independently draft tax declarations and explanations. Basic English for reading international tax documents is a plus.
- Proficient in the filing logic for all Indonesian tax types and DJP online tax systems (e-SPT, e-Nofa, e-Faktur).
- Meticulous with high data sensitivity; able to handle high-pressure work during filing periods (month-end, quarter-end, year-end)
- Strict adherence to professional ethics; maintain strict confidentiality of financial and tax data. Must have a clean professional record with no history of misreporting, underreporting, or fraud.
- Holder of Indonesian Tax Certification (Brevet Pajak A/B/C), familiarity with cross-border tax handling for foreign enterprises, experience managing full-cycle DJP tax audits, or case studies in tax planning for the financial industry.
- Language Required: Advanced English. Mandarin is a plus.
