Job Description

As a Stage Manager at Savaya Group, you will coordinate the successful delivery of live entertainment, performances, productions, and events. You will work closely with the Entertainment, Production, Operations, Technical, Guest Experience, and Service teams to ensure that every performance runs safely, smoothly, and to the required creative and operational standard.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced international hospitality and entertainment environment in Bali.
What You'll Experience
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
You will coordinate the preparation and delivery of live performances, ensuring that artists, performers, production teams, and venue departments are aligned before, during, and after each show. You will help manage performance schedules, call times, rehearsals, soundchecks, stage preparations, changeovers, and show cues.
You will act as a key point of contact between the Entertainment, Production, Technical, Operations, Guest Experience, and Service teams. You will communicate schedules, performance requirements, running orders, technical information, and operational updates clearly and in a timely manner.
During performances and events, you will oversee stage and backstage activity, monitor show progress, coordinate cues and transitions, and respond to changing operational requirements. You will help ensure that performers, equipment, props, costumes, technical elements, and stage areas are prepared and managed appropriately.
You will support the safe and efficient operation of the stage and performance areas by following venue procedures, production plans, risk assessments, health and safety requirements, and emergency protocols. You will identify and communicate potential issues, assist with resolving operational challenges, and escalate matters when required.
You will maintain accurate production information, schedules, checklists, performance notes, incident reports, and other relevant documentation. You may also support the coordination of artists and external production partners, assist with rehearsals and special events, and contribute to the continuous improvement of stage and entertainment operations.
Because you will represent Savaya Group directly, you will remain professional, calm, organised, and solution-focused while working in busy live entertainment environments. You will help create a high-quality experience for performers, guests, and team members while ensuring that performances reflect the venue's creative vision and operational standards.

- Are you comfortable managing schedules, rehearsals, soundchecks, show cues, changeovers, and backstage requirements
- Can you remain calm, focused, and solution-oriented when plans change or unexpected issues occur
- Are you confident following production schedules, running orders, technical requirements, and venue procedures
- Do you understand the importance of health and safety, risk awareness, emergency procedures, and safe backstage operations
- Can you work effectively with Entertainment, Production, Technical, Operations, Guest Experience, and Service teams
- Are you comfortable working on your feet, moving between stage, backstage, and venue areas, and working in loud or busy environments
- Can you communicate effectively in English Additional language skills are welcome.
- Are you available to work shifts, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and during special events
- Have you worked in stage management, event production, live entertainment, theatre, concerts, festivals, hospitality, or venue operations Experience is welcome, but not essential.
