Job Description
We're a Singapore-based software consulting firm looking for an adaptable and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us on a 6-month contract (extendable and or convertible to full time), partnering with different teams across our growing company. Your main focus will be managing the talent pipeline for future hires in Indonesia and Singapore, with some support for broader HR functions.
We believe in providing our team with continuous learning opportunities, encouraging professional development, and fostering an environment that values autonomy. You should be able to learn quickly and work independently. We'll support you as best we can, but you must be tenacious and resourceful enough to figure out things you don't know how to do.
Responsibilities
- Work with the leadership team and hiring managers to understand and execute talent acquisition strategies based on the needs of different business units.
- Build and manage talent pipelines for roles across Indonesia and Singapore, including technical and non-technical positions.
- Manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating assessments, and guiding candidates through the hiring process.
- Conduct proactive sourcing and headhunting to identify and attract suitable candidates, particularly for technical and specialised positions.
- Partner with universities to support internship and fresh graduate hiring, including career fairs, campus engagement, and other talent attraction initiatives.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics such as pipeline conversion, sourcing channel effectiveness, and candidate feedback, and use these insights to improve hiring decisions and processes.
- Provide ad hoc support for broader HR functions, such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement.
- Articulate and market our company values and employee experience to potential candidates throughout the hiring process.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Science, Human Resource Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or HR Generalist roles with strong recruitment experience.
- Experience hiring for technical, engineering, or other specialised roles is required. Experience recruiting for software/technology roles is a plus, but candidates from other technical recruitment backgrounds are welcome.
- Experience with proactive sourcing and headhunting, including LinkedIn Recruiter or similar recruitment platforms.
- Comfortable working with recruitment data and able to track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics using spreadsheets, ATS dashboards, or other tools.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Experience working in a startup, technology company, consulting environment, or other fast-paced organization is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple recruitment priorities.
We're looking for someone who enjoys end-to-end recruitment and has hands-on experience hiring technical or specialized talent. You don't need to come from an IT recruitment background specifically - if you have successfully recruited technical, engineering, or other specialized roles and are comfortable owning the hiring process from sourcing through to closing, we'd love to hear from you.
We seek your understanding that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
