System Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site System Engineer role based in Belopa, Luwu, South Sulawesi.

Job Description

1. Respond to and resolve inbound technical support requests received through ticketing systems, chat, and phone in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Install, configure, maintain, and monitor VMware-based virtualization environments (Hypervisor).
3. Set up, configure, and maintain physical servers and storage systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
4. Implement and maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies to ensure business continuity and data protection.
5. Install, configure, test, maintain, and monitor operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
6. Administer and maintain Microsoft infrastructure services, including Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, and Windows Server.
7. Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including Microsoft 365 Tenant and Microsoft Entra ID administration.
8. Administer, monitor, and maintain backup and recovery systems using Veeam Backup & Replication.
9. Monitor server performance, storage capacity, and system availability to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
10. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and maintenance records.
11. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and support infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in Windows Server administration and maintenance.
3. Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration.
4. Experience managing Microsoft 365 (O365) environments and Microsoft Entra ID.
5. Experience with VMware virtualization technologies and hypervisor management.
6. Experience administering Veeam Backup & Replication solutions.
7. Strong understanding of networking, system security, backup, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure troubleshooting.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
10. Good communication and documentation skills.
