Sustainable Agronomy Intern

ReClimaTech is an Indonesian limited company (PT) based in Bali, working on environmental consulting for nature-based solutions, forestry, sustainable agriculture, corporate sustainability, impact investments, professional services and landscape management. Position Overview

Reporting to the Lead for Climate Smart Agriculture, the Sustainable Agronomy Intern supports the planning and execution of professional service projects focused on nature-based solutions and climate mitigation. The role involves conducting research on agricultural certifications and sustainability commitments to drive business development while ensuring client engagements are delivered with high quality and efficiency. Key tasks include improving technical templates, supporting Project Management workflows, and contributing to Research & Development initiatives. The core focus is leveraging sustainable agriculture to enhance productivity and unlock green finance, requiring a solid foundation or a strong desire to learn land-use GHG accounting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Indonesian passport
• Willing to be based in Bali
• Fluent in speaking and writing in English and Indonesian language
• Freshly graduated with good grades from high-quality university in fields of agronomy, agri-business, agriculture, agro-ecology or related fields
• Exposure to Indonesian cash crops like palm oil, rice, coffee, cocoa, spices or similar
• Good understanding about agronomy of crops and what drives yield productivity
• Excellent skills in statistics, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Benefits & Work Conditions

The Internship is paid. One-way transportation to relocate to Bali at the beginning of the internship can be covered. The candidate may be based out of Bali with some working days per week in ReClima Tech's Office in Sanur, Bali. In the beginning, the position can be part-time and hybrid, including days in the office and days working from home. These arrangements can be adapted later.
