Role Description This is a field focused, contract role for a Aerial Survey Technician based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Aerial Survey Technician will conduct field data collection for land and topographic surveys, following established procedures and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include actively participating in airborne data collection, data validation checks and daily reporting activitites. The technician will also help maintain equipment, organize survey documentation, and adhere to project timelines and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in survey technologies such as LiDAR systems, GPS and RTK equipment.
• Strong skills in data processing and mapping software, including GIS and CAD tools.
• Minimum 5 years experience in managing and executing aerial, ground, and topographic surveys.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in mapping and spatial data accuracy.
• Proven leadership and team management experience, including mentoring and overseeing field teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field.
• Indonesian based with ability to work throughout Indonesia and SE Asia
