The Supply Planner at JR286 is responsible for analyzing MRP results to generate purchase orders, manage global suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products. The candidate should be able to understand value chain process and has a global view of basic supply chain and has the ability to execute the day-to-day details.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for purchasing and tracking delivery
- Analyze MRP results to generate purchase orders and manage any exceptions
- Review open PO's, maintain accurate pricing, delivery status, and perform PO adjustment when needed
- Manage global suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Must positively impact inventory management and order fulfillment improving on-time delivery
- Work in tandem with other Asian offices expediting and updating PO delivery
- Manage logistics flow from Asia and customer direct ship
- Determine the scheduling and expediting of inventory deliveries to ensure acquisition of appropriate levels of material from suppliers
- Work closely with product development team and sourcing team on impact from new product introduction to product end-of-life
- Manage MOQ, material surcharge, upcharge, expedited freight, address any delivery issues with product development, and sports marketing
- Other duties as assigned
What to Bring:
- Bachelor's degrees in engineering or business management required
- 4 - 6 years recent experience in a large-scale retail environment, allocating footwear, apparel, accessories, or fashion-based products
- Computer Proficiency including spreadsheets such as Excel and Oracle ASCP, MRP, inventory and purchasing modules
- Must be decisive and able to take risks and confident
- Must be able to work in a team environment and lead a team to maximize their potential
- Strong analytical skills to include writing functional and technical specifications along with interfacing with the user/technical community
