About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team. This role will be responsible for demand forecasting, sales trend analysis, inventory planning support, and improving forecast accuracy across product categories.
The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, enjoys working with data, and is able to translate business insights into actionable forecasting strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, promotional activities, and business inputs
- Analyze sales performance, inventory movement, and forecasting accuracy to identify risks and opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Operations teams to align forecasting assumptions
- Monitor stock availability and support inventory optimization to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory
- Prepare regular forecasting and planning reports for management review
- Identify demand patterns and provide recommendations to improve planning processes and business performance
- Support monthly forecasting cycles, replenishment planning, and supply planning activities
- Continuously improve forecasting models, planning methodologies, and reporting efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Planning, or related analytical roles
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Experience using ERP or planning systems is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields preferred
Preferred Background
- Experience in Retail, FMCG, Pharmacy, or Consumer Goods industry
- Familiarity with forecasting methodologies and demand planning KPIs
- Comfortable working with large datasets and cross-functional teams
