Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Non-Conformances Management: Lead the resolution of Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) by working with suppliers to secure immediate containment, complete root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive action (CAPA).
• Disposition & Inventory Control: Ensure timely processing of supplier reject notes (SRNs) and manage the disposition of rejected materials to clear the aging inventory.
• Quality Assurance & Audits: Conduct scheduled supplier quality audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and drive continuous performance improvement.
• Reporting: Generate and distribute comprehensive supplier quality performance reports for internal and external review.

Requirements:

• Minimum a Degree in Engineering or relevant technical background (S1/D4/D3)
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing with experience in PCBA, Machining, stamping or molding
• Expertise in quality management systems (QMS), covering IQC, IPQC, and OQC
• Experience in a Supplier Quality Engineer role, communicating with overseas and local suppliers
• Proficient in key quality tools (e.g. 8D, control plans, 5Whys, 7QC tools)
• Capable of performing process quality audits
• Able to read engineering drawings and possesses basic knowledge of electronic components
• Able to effectively work under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards.
• Proficiency in English Language (Spoken and Written)
• Proficiency in Chinese Language will be an added advantage
