Supplier Quality Engineer (Indonesia Region)

Essential Functions:

• Oversee and coordinate resolution of quality problems on the production site for new materials and structural parts.
• Act as the primary on-site interface for material quality issues.
• Develop and implement plans for handling poor incoming materials.
• Work with suppliers to complete cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification.
• Participate in creating containment plans for non-conforming materials.
• Engage in APQP and PPAP processes to manage risks and ensure part quality.
• Assist in preparing for and completing customer audits.
• Train the SQE team on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality control, preferably in vehicle manufacturing.
• Familiar with ISO9000, TS16949, and VDA quality systems.
• Proficient in FMEA, FTA, 8D, Six Sigma, and SPC.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular attendance.
• Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds.
• Strong bilingual skills in English and local language.
