Supervisor Mechanical Engineering (Infrastructure)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Supervision, or similar roles
• Experience in mining, EPC, conveyor systems, material handling, or infrastructure projects is preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering, construction, installation, and commissioning
• Strong leadership, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing contractors/subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams
• POP certification is preferred; AK3 certification is an advantage
• Willing to work on a site-based mining project

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor mechanical project activities from engineering through commissioning
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical documents
• Supervise mechanical construction and installation, particularly conveyor and infrastructure works
• Coordinate with engineering, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues
• Monitor manpower, equipment, materials, quality, HSE, and project progress
• Ensure project execution complies with approved specifications, drawings, schedule, quality standards, and HSE requirements
• Monitor contractor/subcontractor performance and conduct regular site coordination meetings
• Identify project delays and coordinate recovery actions
• Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing, start-up, and handover activities
• Prepare project progress reports and follow up NCRs, punch lists, and corrective actions
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and site personnel
• Support the Project Manager in achieving project safety, quality, schedule, cost, and performance targets
