Supervisor - Dyeing

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Chemical/Textile Chemistry.
• Minimum 02 years of experience in the textile/garment industry.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Solid knowledge of dyeing processes, equipment, and chemicals.
• Familiarity with Nylon and Polyester dyeing will be a plus.
• Extensive expertise in dyeing methods, color matching, and fabric finishing.
• Ability to lead, motivate the team, and have strong organizational and planning skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication.

Job Description:

• Plan and coordinate Bulk Dye operations as per internal and external customer requirements.
• Communicate/negotiate with approving parties to resolve shade issues/ quality issues/testing issues.
• Conduct audits, identify and take timely action on issues to ensure smooth dye house functionality.
• Ensure sufficient availability of dyes and chemicals to support uninterrupted dyeing operations while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Build good working relationships with internal and external customers to understand their requirements.
• Work with suppliers to ensure products/services within the dye house are maintained up to the required quality standards.
• Carry out process improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the product/process.
• Implement/maintain the lean principle and practices in the Dye House Department.
