PT Pelsart Tambang Kencana is seeking an experienced Resources Geology professional to support resource modelling, reconciliation, and resource evaluation activities within our Exploration Department.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate end-to-end reconciliation between Resource Model, Grade Control Model, Mine Production, Mill Feed, and Bullion Production.
- Identify and assess factors contributing to variances between resource models and actual production, including ore loss, dilution, sampling bias, domaining issues, estimation bias, and selective mining effects.
- Develop and recommend improvements in geological interpretation, domaining, drilling strategy, estimation parameters, resource classification, and resource modeling practices.
- Conduct reconciliation analysis and provide recommendations to improve resource model accuracy and reliability.
- Support the development and maintenance of resource databases and reconciliation reporting.
- Collaborate with related functions to support resource evaluation and Life of Mine (LOM) planning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Exploration Mining, Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related discipline.
- More than 10 years of working experience in the mining industry.
- Strong understanding of resource modeling, grade control, and resource reconciliation processes.
- Proficient in geological and mining software applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to evaluate and identify factors affecting reconciliation results and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
