Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or Geological Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the mining industry, including experience in contract management, mine survey, mining database, and project control, with at least 3 years in a Superintendent or equivalent leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of mine survey, mining data analytics, contract administration, and operational performance monitoring.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and analytical decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the verification of mining and non-mining operational activities to ensure compliance with company standards and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to validate operational data and support accurate reporting.
  • Monitor and control the implementation of internal operational programs to ensure effective execution.
  • Manage and evaluate mine survey activities, including joint surveys, haul distance verification, and overburden (OB), coal, and quarry volume measurements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of mining operational databases to support planning, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Support contract administration by providing accurate operational data for performance evaluation, progress monitoring, and claim verification.
