Student Support Officer
Role Overview:
Provide holistic student support through counseling, psychological assessments, and character development programs to foster a healthy learning environment and support students academic success and personal growth throughout their university journey. This role also contributes to student case handling, mentoring coordination, psychoeducation delivery, and crisis support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a Master's degree in Professional Psychology (Clinical track preferred)
- For Master's graduates, a valid professional practice license (SIPP) is required
- Demonstrated expertise in psychological counseling and CBT-based psychotherapy, particularly for depression, anxiety, and behavioral issues
- Skilled in conducting psychological assessments, including interviews and psychometric testing (IQ, aptitude, and interest)
- Ability to provide Psychological First Aid (PFA) in crisis situations
- Experience working with students with special needs, including Autism and ADHD
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in counseling, preferably in educational settings
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team, including involvement in student case discussions and ethics processes
- Experience in developing and delivering psychoeducational programs (seminars/workshops)
- Ability to facilitate student development initiatives, including mentoring programs and training (e.g., stress management, time management, emotional regulation)
