Job Description
We are looking for skilled and experienced structural fitters to join our team at PT. Profab Indonesia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in prefab and electrics at modules, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. Additionally, we are interested in senior fitters who have participated in overseas module fabrication projects, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful assembly and installation of our products, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit structural components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
- Ensure precise and accurate alignment of structural elements during the fitting process.
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks to identify and rectify any fitting issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and fabrication, to ensure seamless integration of structural components.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices in structural fitting.
- Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced fitters, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing process enhancements.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely completion of fitting tasks and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a structural fitter, with expertise in prefab and electrics at modules.
- Proven track record in successful module fabrication projects, preferably with overseas experience.
- Strong knowledge of structural fitting techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving fitting issues.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and provide technical guidance.
