What you'll do and what success looks like in this role:
- Manage and facilitate regular governance and performance review meetings, as well as ad-hoc meetings as required.
- Lead the preparation of business plans and budgets, management reporting, business reviews, and Bank performance analysis.
- Translate business plans and budgets into the Bank's Business Plan (RBB), including securing regulatory approvals, preparing product proposals, business cases, and regulatory strategies.
- Support management by providing in-depth analysis for the preparation of strategy documents and related initiatives.
- Oversee and execute the Bank's strategy and planning functions, including budget management, KPI setting, KPI tracking, and performance reviews.
- Drive the execution of the Bank's strategies and initiatives, as well as ad-hoc projects or requests from management, such as M&A activities, Bank-wide strategic projects, and business unit strategic initiatives.
- Ensure alignment and synergy across business unit initiatives to achieve organizational objectives.
What Is Required And What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in strategic planning, scenario analysis, market research, or competitive analysis in Banking industry is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to analyze complex problems, identify opportunities, and formulate effective strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and market research to support decision-making and strategy development.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and to adapt strategies and plans in response to changing market conditions.
- Knowledge of the industry in which the organization operates is an advantage, as it helps in understanding market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends that impact strategic decision-making.
