About The Role:
The Strategy Manager will play a critical role in shaping the company's growth by driving strategic initiatives, leading market research, and supporting the expansion into new geographies or business verticals. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Strategy and Investment, this role is instrumental in informing executive decisions, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and executing high-impact projects that support the company's long-term vision.
What Will You Do:
1. Conduct Strategic Market Research
Lead in-depth market research to assess opportunities and risks across existing and new markets, including merchant pain points, competitive dynamics, and regulatory landscapes.
2. Facilitate Cross-Functional Alignment
Partner with leadership across Sales, Product, Technology, and Finance to ensure alignment and successful execution of key strategic initiatives.
3. Support Strategic Planning & Executive Communications
Contribute to the development of board materials, internal strategy documents, and presentations for leadership or executive forums.
4. Drive Go-to-Market Readiness
Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, PR, and Finance—to ensure smooth market entry or product launches, while addressing legal, compliance, and operational requirements.
5. Oversee Legal and Regulatory Coordination
Review, analyze, and finalize key legal documents in collaboration with the Legal and Compliance team to support submissions to regulators, partners, and clients in new markets.
6. Manage Strategic Partnerships
Lead collaboration with strategic partners to plan, implement, and optimize joint initiatives, ensuring milestones are met and value is delivered.
What We Are Looking For:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or any related field
2. Hard worker with proven at least 3 years work experience in market research, strategy development, and investment analysis, preferably within the tech industry. Experience in management consulting is a plus
3. Must have experience in expanding business into new countries or establishing new business lines in existing countries.
4. Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
5. Past experience in the payment or fintech business is a plus
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
8. Strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. Able to speak English fluently
10.Willing to work from office in Jakarta
