Position Title: Strategic Assistant Tax Manager
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring tax compliance while partnering with cross-functional teams to support strategic business decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partner with the Tax Manager to manage communications and inquiries from the Tax Office (e.g., SP2DK and other tax-related matters).
- Take an active role in handling tax disputes, including Tax Audits, Objections, Appeals, and Judicial Reviews, by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Prepare and review Transfer Pricing Documentation to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Support the review of fiscal corrections and Corporate Income Tax calculations, helping ensure accurate and compliant tax reporting.
- Review commercial agreements and contracts to identify tax implications and mitigate potential tax risks.
- Stay up to date with the latest tax regulations and proactively translate regulatory changes into practical business guidance.
- Act as a trusted business partner by providing tax advice to various functions on the implementation of tax regulations and tax-related matters.
- Contribute to tax initiatives and process improvement projects that strengthen compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and support business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Tax Supervisor role, preferably within the Manufacturing, Pharma, or FMCG industry.
- Hands-on experience in handling Tax Office inquiries (e.g., SP2DK) and tax disputes, including Tax Audits, Objections, Appeals, and Judicial Reviews.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing Transfer Pricing Documentation.
- Brevet A & B certification is required; Brevet C is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and basic accounting principles.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax applications, including e-SPT, Coretax, and tax reporting systems.
- Fluent English is a strong advantage.
