Job Description

The Strategic Project Management Senior Specialist supports the performance management, resourcing, financial, and legal processes that enable SQE's projects and people to operate at their best. Working closely with sector and corporate stakeholders, you are expected to do:

  • Performance Management & Reporting:

Maintain and continuously improve the framework for tracking project performance, workforce utilization, and financial health, delivering data-driven insights that support management decision-making and planning.

  • Resource & Capacity Planning:

Support workforce planning by helping align resource allocation with business priorities, monitoring capacity utilization, and contributing to forecasts of future workforce needs.

  • Business Intelligence & Analytics:

Analyze operational and financial data to surface actionable insights, supporting decision-making and improving the accuracy of financial forecasting and risk reporting.

  • Resource Productivity Planning:

Administer resource allocation and timesheet governance, ensuring compliance with organizational policies while using data analytics to identify opportunities to improve workforce efficiency and productivity.

  • Legal & Risk Management:

Support the development, negotiation, and execution of key legal agreements (NDA, MSA, SOW), coordinating with Legal to ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and timely review.

  • Financial & Operational Optimization:

Support Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities to help ensure financial accuracy, healthy cash flow, and strong partner relationships through effective payment and collection practices.

  • Vendor Strategy & Management:

Assist with vendor management activities including market scanning, evaluation, negotiation support, and relationship management, to help secure strategic partnerships and ensure smooth project operations.

Success in this role is measured through accuracy and timeliness of reporting, quality of resource utilization and productivity recommendations, timely support of legal agreement execution, and quality of vendor coordination.

The Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in STEM, Finance, Management, or a related field from a reputable university
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management, PMO, business operations, or financial analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn operational and financial data into clear, actionable insights
  • Working understanding of financial concepts, including AR/AP processes, cash flow, and forecasting
  • Familiarity with commercial legal agreements (NDA, MSA, SOW) and basic risk management principles
  • Exposure to resource or workforce planning and capacity management is a plus
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across Legal, Finance, and Operations
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities against tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in relevant data and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI platforms)
