This job will be fully remote.
Position Overview:
The Team Leader - Strategic Learning & Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth, managing key accounts, and leading strategic learning initiatives in the above markets. This role combines sales leadership with learning and development expertise to deliver high-value training solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
1. Develop and execute strategies to grow business in assigned markets.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing key accounts
3. Conduct client visits, prepare sales proposals, and confidently present EnergyEdge's training solutions
4. Achieve and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
5. Analyze market trends and learning & development needs to inform business decisions and improve client performance
Team Leadership:
1. Lead and mentor 1 business development professionals
2. Set performance goals for team members and provide regular feedback
3. Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of training solutions
Strategic Learning & Development
Performance Management
1. Maintain high levels of sales productivity, including client meetings, CRM activities, and proposal
generation
2. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for both individual and team performance
3. Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on learning and development solutions
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
Proficiency in CRM systems and learning management platforms
Deep understanding of adult learning principles and corporate training methodologies
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
