Job Title: Store Supervisor (F&B industry) for Surabaya Area
Reports to: Area/Operation Manager
Job Summary:
The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations in a food and beverage outlet. This includes managing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting the outlet's profitability through efficient operations. The supervisor acts as a bridge between the service staff and management, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house activities during shift operations.
- Ensure smooth opening, running, and closing of the outlet.
- Monitor and maintain service standards and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
2. Staff Supervision:
- Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staff rosters.
- Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
- Train new and existing staff in service protocols and outlet procedures.
- Motivate team members and foster a positive working environment.
3. Customer Service:
- Ensure excellent guest experience through prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Engage with guests to gather feedback and improve service quality.
- Maintain a visible presence in the dining area during peak periods.
4. Inventory and Stock Control:
- Monitor stock levels of supplies, beverages, and equipment.
- Assist in ordering and receiving stock.
- Reduce wastage and ensure proper storage of items.
5. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of the outlet.
- Conduct regular checks of the dining area and service equipment.
6. Financial Assistance:
- Assist with daily sales reports, cash handling and billing procedures.
- Support cost control initiatives and upselling efforts to increase revenue.
Requirements:
- Min. 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role in F&B or hospitality
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to in fast-paced environments and flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic administrative tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety regulations and inventory management.
- Excellent communication both in Bahasa and English.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
