Storage and Data Service Resident Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Provide operational support for PowerScale and WEKA storage platforms.
2. Perform data path validation to ensure optimal performance for AI workloads.
3. Conduct performance tuning and manage storage-related incidents to maintain system reliability.

Requirements:

1. Strong understanding of scale-out storage platforms and parallel data access architectures.
2. Hands-on experience supporting PowerScale and/or WEKA in performance-sensitive environments.
3. Ability to assess storage throughput, latency, namespace health, and client connectivity.
4. Experience performing storage health checks, capacity planning, and resilience monitoring.
5. Working knowledge of Linux client integration and mount path troubleshooting.
6. Ability to identify and isolate performance bottlenecks across storage, network fabric, and compute layers.
7. Familiarity with AI/HPC workload characteristics and their impact on storage and data services.
8. Experience in enterprise or HPC storage engineering environments.
9. Knowledge of file storage and data services operations.
10. Experience supporting AI workload performance and storage optimization.
