About the Role
Senior Supply Chain Manager is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing the company's entire supply chain process, from demand planning and procurement to inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and logistics execution. This position ensures product availability, cost efficiency, product quality, and on-time delivery to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Lead short-, medium-, and long-term planning related to raw material requirements, finished products, production capacity, and distribution.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements and cost savings across the supply chain.
- Ensure accurate demand forecasting through collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, and Production teams.
- Manage inventory levels to maintain a balance between product availability and inventory costs.
- Monitor inventory turnover, stock aging, slow-moving inventory, and dead stock.
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other operational needs.
- Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and continuity of supply.
- Lead contract negotiations and periodically evaluate supplier performance.
- Ensure warehousing and distribution operations are effective, efficient, and meet company standards.
- Manage the distribution network to ensure timely delivery and maintain product quality throughout the delivery process.
- Optimize transportation and logistics costs without compromising service quality.
- Ensure all supply chain activities comply with food safety standards, government regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain the quality of raw materials and products during storage and distribution.
- Manage supply chain risks, including supply disruptions, regulatory changes, and raw material price fluctuations.
- Lead, develop, and evaluate the performance of the supply chain team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Production, Finance, Commercial, Quality, and Operations teams.
- Present supply chain performance reports and improvement recommendations to management.
Requirements :
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or Operations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior managerial position.
- Experience in the Food & Beverages, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail Food, or Food Manufacturing industries.
- Experience managing an end-to-end supply chain with national or multi-site operations.
- Placement : Head Office, West Jakarta.
