Job Description

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing
  • Create reliable and scalable automation scripts for web and/or mobile applications
  • Build and maintain automated API testing using tools/frameworks such as Postman, RestAssured, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end automation testing
  • Analyze test execution results and troubleshoot failures efficiently
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality throughout the SDLC
  • Review business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities
  • Improve testing processes, frameworks, and quality standards continuously
  • Monitor test stability, flaky tests, and automation coverage
  • Participate in code reviews for automation scripts and testing standards
  • Support release validation and production issue investigation when needed
  • Mentor junior or mid-level QA engineers on automation best practices
  • Contribute to test reporting and quality metrics

Requirements

Person We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years experience as QA Automation Engineer
  • Strong experience in Web UI, Mobile UI and API automation testing
  • Proficient in at least one programming language:
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Java
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Test automation framework design
  • Page Object Model (POM)
  • Data-driven testing
  • API validation
  • Assertion libraries
  • Experience with CI/CD integration
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience with SQL and database validation
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, and status codes
  • Familiarity with Docker/containerized environments is a plus
  • Experience with performance or security testing is a plus
