Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company in the industrial manufacturing sector. As the organization continues to strengthen its people strategy and organizational capabilities, our client is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner Manager to partner with senior leadership and drive strategic HR initiatives across the business. The position is based in Riau, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Act as a strategic HR advisor to senior leaders and department heads, translating business priorities into effective people strategies.
- Partner with leadership teams to identify organizational needs, workforce challenges, and capability gaps, providing recommendations on organization structure, manpower planning, and workforce optimization.
- Lead workforce planning, manpower analysis, workforce cost planning, and organization effectiveness initiatives in line with business requirements.
- Drive talent management, succession planning, and high-potential employee development programs.
- Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and implement development plans and leadership development initiatives.
- Lead and continuously improve performance management processes, including goal setting, performance discussions, and performance improvement plans.
- Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and industrial relations issues while ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor regulations.
- Support compensation and benefits initiatives including salary reviews, market benchmarking, internal equity, and workforce cost management.
- Drive employee engagement and organizational culture initiatives to strengthen retention and organizational effectiveness.
- Utilize HR analytics and workforce data to identify trends, provide insights, and support management decision-making.
- Lead HR transformation and change management initiatives to support organizational growth and business transformation.
- Lead, coach, and develop HR team members to strengthen HR capabilities and service delivery.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HR Business Partner leadership role.
- Proven experience partnering with senior executives and business leaders on strategic people and organizational matters.
- Experience in manufacturing/oil & gas/heavy industry/engineering/energy/other industrial sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in organizational development, talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and performance management.
- Proven experience managing HR transformation and change management initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor regulations and industrial relations.
- Strong HR analytics and reporting capabilities, with the ability to translate people data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication, influencing, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect HR strategies with broader business objectives.
- Willing to be based in Riau, Indonesia.
