Sr.Data Engineer

Infinite Computer Solutions is looking for experienced Data Engineers to join our growing team in Bangalore and Gurgaon.

Job description:

• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to independently troubleshoot, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Experience working collaboratively across distributed teams while maintaining strong documentation, communication, and handoffs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, consulting-oriented environment with evolving priorities and deadlines.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and modern data engineering practices.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines using Azure services including ADF, ADLS Gen2, Event Hub, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience implementing batch, file-based, API, and event-driven ingestion patterns.
• Strong understanding of data quality, validation, reconciliation, testing, monitoring, and operational support processes.
• Experience with schema management, incremental processing, performance optimization, and production-ready pipeline development.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover, and production stabilization activities.
• Understanding of security, governance, and handling sensitive financial or employee data.

Nice to Have

• Databricks Data Engineer Certification.
• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, governance controls, and Lakehouse architecture.
• Experience with ingestion accelerators, reusable framework development, or large-scale data modernization initiatives.
• Experience supporting Concur, AppZen, Workday, SAP, ERP, Finance, or Expense Management data integrations
• Experience with orchestration and scheduling platforms such as Azure Data Factory or Airflow.
