Work you'll do

  • Serve as a Director leading the teams on multiple client engagements and proposals in various industries in Southeast Asia.
  • Lead multiple teams on various advisory projects throughout the merger and acquisition life cycle, focusing on value advisory, financial modelling and decision support for transactions.
  • Lead multiple teams on various valuations & modeling projects that may be used for the purpose of financial reporting, tax-related purposes conducting feasibility studies, etc.
  • Bring organizations together through mergers and acquisitions, or creating new entities through separations and divestitures, which are among the most complex business activities an organization will ever undertake. You will also be expected to support in providing transaction structures for the corporate actions.
  • Lead several teams to deliver value to clients by resolving their challenges and providing strategic support throughout their M&A journeys.
  • Responsible for the overall project management and high-quality deliverables to the client
  • Lead the development of our talent by implementing an apprenticeship model that fosters growth and skill-building, ensuring our team members have meaningful and fulfilling career paths.
  • Actively involved in pitching for engagements, executing projects, and responding to client requests, all while providing exceptional client experiences and building long-term relationships.
  • Working in close collaboration with other offering teams within the firm across various disciplines and geographies.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Possesses an undergraduate or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from a recognized local or international university with outstanding academic credentials. Professional certifications such as CFA, CVA, ICAEW, ACCA, FMVA, or CFM are highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience in business valuation, M&A, investment banking, private equity, equity research, or auditing, with a consistent track record of leading teams, managing complex engagements, and driving strategic initiatives to successful completion.
  • Demonstrates advanced financial modeling capabilities, including building dynamic, integrated models from scratch and critically reviewing and enhancing client-developed models to ensure accuracy, relevance, and strategic insight.
  • Brings strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with an inquisitive mindset, logical thinking, and the ability to simplify complex financial or strategic issues for both internal teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Exhibits high attention to detail and a meticulous work style, ensuring the precision and integrity of all analyses, reports, and deliverables.
  • Performs well under pressure and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, consistently meeting demanding deadlines while maintaining quality, professionalism, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present strategic insights to boards of directors and senior leadership, as well as to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a strong desire to cultivate both internal and external professional networks and contribute to a culture of respect, care, and high performance.
  • A high-performing, coachable team leader who prioritizes continuous development, values-driven behavior, and client service excellence, while fostering collaboration and a growth mindset within the team.
