Analyze root cause, and resolution for any problem assigned
Support the team in daily database management.
Execute backup/restore procedures and performance monitoring.
Assist with the implementation of high availability and replication.
Maintain data security in accordance with company standards.
Review resolution for incident and problem to ensure the resolution are appropriate, comprehensive, and feasible
Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed
Proactively learn and utilize new technologies, concepts and procedures as appropriate to customer requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
Deep understanding of MS SQL Server including Advance Querying, Database Mirroring, AlwaysOn (AAG), Log Shipping, Replication etc.
Understanding of RDBMS concepts (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in maintaining & troubleshooting User Management, Performance Issue, Indexing, SQL Agent, Linked Server, and Backup/Restore activity.
Basic experience with database backup and restore, including RDS snapshots.
Knowledge of High Availability & Replication (streaming, logical, cluster).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (pg_stat_statements, Prometheus, Grafana).
Database maintenance: vacuum, reindex, archiving.
Understanding of data masking and database security.
Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
