Job Description
Qualification
- The job holder must have a bachelor degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering. Construction management,or related fields
- 10 years eperience in project management, cost estimating, or contract law is more preferred
- Experience in Quantity Surveying – Typically, 3 years in the field, with a focus on large-scale projects such as those found in the oil and gas sector.
- Relevant Industry Experience – Background in the construction, engineering, or oil and gas sectors is highly desirable.
- Cost Management Experience – Proven track record in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management in major construction or engineering projects.
- Experience with the specific requirements and challenges of oil and gas construction projects, including offshore rigs, pipelines, refineries, and infrastructure developments.
- Experience with various forms of contracts (e.g., EPC, FIDIC, or other industry-specific contracts).
- Experience with industry-standard software such as CostX, Procore, MS Project, and Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
