Specialist - Mechanical Maintenance

Role Responsibility:

• Responsible for supervision as well as hands-on maintenance of mechanical systems, as performing maintenance on all mechanical equipment at PMR like Pump, Fan/Blower, vacuum pump Agitator, Gear box, Overhead Cranes, Tank and Reactor, Rotary Kiln, Hydraulic System, ensuring reliability, safety, and maximum efficiency. The technician will play a crucial role in reducing downtime and improving the operational uptime of PMR.
• Mechanical specialists responsible for maintenance and repair of PMR critical equipment maintenance on day-to-day basis as per Manager/Superintendent/Supervisor given task, may be worked by hand with the help of contract crew for emergency break-down of equipment.
• Hands on experience of some critical equipment assembly like critical pumps, fan, agitator, hydraulic cylinder, alignment of any rotatory equipment, and critical equipment bearing fitment.

Role Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor degree of Engineer in Mechanical or in a relevant equivalent field, along with relevant certifications or specialized training
• 7-12 years Hands-on in mechanical maintenance of Pumps, Fan/Blower, Agitator, Gearbox, Overhead Cranes, Tank and Reactor, Rotary Kiln, Hydraulic System, etc. or relevant experience in largescale process plants.
• Hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment in copper smelters or similar industrial environments.
• Specific experience with equipment such as acid pumps, agitator, tank and reactor.
• Proficiency in mechanical maintenance, including pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, compressors, and rotating equipment.
• Expertise in alignment and fitting of rotary equipment and critical component bearing installation.
• Understanding of process / hot metal plant maintenance and reliability
