Role Description The Spa Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ubud, responsible for delivering high-quality spa services to guests in a relaxing and professional environment. Day-to-day activities include performing a variety of spa treatments such as massages, facials, body scrubs, manicures, and pedicures in accordance with company protocols and hygiene standards. The Spa Therapist will conduct consultations to understand guest needs, recommend appropriate treatments, and provide after-care advice to support overall wellness. The role also involves preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness of equipment and products, and accurately recording service details. Collaboration with the wider Mason Adventures team to enhance guest experiences, promote spa offerings, and support special packages or promotions is an important part of this position.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in cosmetology with relevant training, certification, or diploma in beauty therapy or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in spa treatments, including massages, body treatments, and relaxation therapies.
- Proficiency in providing professional facials with knowledge of skin types, product selection, and basic skincare advice.
- Skill in nail care services, including manicures and pedicures, with attention to hygiene and detail.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build rapport, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong awareness of sanitation, safety, and health standards, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed in a tourism and hospitality setting.
- Previous experience in a spa, resort, or hospitality environment is an advantage; conversational English and Bahasa Indonesia skills are beneficial.
