Role Description The Spa Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based at Floating Leaf Eco Retreat in Bali, Indonesia. In this position, the therapist provides a range of spa treatments and wellness services that align with the retreat's holistic, eco-luxury philosophy, including facials, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, and relaxation therapies. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, consulting with guests to understand their needs, and delivering personalized, high-quality services. The Spa Therapist also supports the guest experience by offering attentive customer service, explaining treatment benefits, and recommending appropriate follow-up care or products. Collaboration with the wider retreat team to coordinate spa schedules, support group wellness activities, and contribute to a calm, welcoming atmosphere is essential.
Qualifications

Professional expertise in spa treatments, including body therapies and relaxation services.
Skills in facials and cosmetology, with knowledge of skin care techniques and product usage.
Experience in pedicures and related nail care treatments, ensuring high standards of hygiene and aesthetics.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and create a welcoming guest experience.
Relevant certification or training in spa therapy, beauty therapy, or cosmetology.
Knowledge of wellness concepts and interest in holistic and eco-friendly practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by retreat schedules.
Proficiency in English; additional language skills and familiarity with Balinese or Indonesian culture are an advantage.
