Client : Earth & Skin Organic Day Spa - Uluwatu
Location : Uluwatu, Bali, Indonesia
Department : Administrative & General

Budget Up To : IDR 12.000.000
About Us:
The Cakap Group (TCG) is a licensed hospitality management and restaurant consulting company in Indonesia with an 11-year history of success. We design, launch, and manage a diverse portfolio of prestigious projects, ranging from boutique hotels and luxury resorts to restaurants, wellness & spa concepts, and luxury yachts. With over 150 successful projects and 800+ employees recruited, we offer a stable, dynamic, and internationally standardized working environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, supported by our dedicated training facilities and operational expertise in Bali. Join us to accelerate your career and be part of an exceptional team that transforms ambitious visions into world-class hospitality experiences.
About Client:
Earth & Skin Organic Day Spa is an established organic, vegan, and ethical day spa brand from Queensland, Australia, recognized for over 12 years for its all-natural treatments and personalized, wellness-focused guest care. The brand is now expanding into Bali with a new branch in Uluwatu, currently in its pre-opening stage, bringing the same philosophy and premium service standards to a relaxing, high-end experience for local and international guests. As part of the pre-opening team, the Spa Manager will play a key role in setting up operations, building the team, establishing service standards and SOPs, and ensuring the spa is ready to deliver an exceptional guest experience from day one.
What You Will Contribute:
As the Spa Manager for Earth & Skin Organic Day Spa's first Bali location, you will take full ownership of the spa's operation, from pre-opening setup through to daily leadership after launch. Working closely with the Director, you will build the team, establish service standards and SOPs, and shape the guest experience from day one. This is a rare opportunity to lead a brand's market entry rather than step into an already-established operation, with real influence over how Earth & Skin's premium, natural-wellness philosophy comes to life in Uluwatu.
What You Will Do:
Pre-Opening & Team Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop the spa team, including therapists and reception/client services staff.
- Prepare and manage staff rosters, productivity, attendance, and staffing levels according to business demand.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, employee engagement, and retention.
Service Standards & Guest Experience
- Ensure Earth & Skin treatment protocols, service standards, hygiene, and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
- Oversee the complete guest journey and ensure a personalized, professional, and five-star guest experience.
- Manage daily spa operations, including appointments, opening/closing procedures, team briefings, walk-ins, and operational issues.
- Handle escalated guest feedback and complaints and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution.
Sales, Revenue & Cost Control
- Drive revenue through bookings, rebooking, retail sales, treatment upgrades, and appropriate add-on services.
- Monitor key business performance, including revenue, therapist productivity, appointment utilization, guest spend, customer satisfaction, and overall P&L.
- Oversee reception, booking, payment, and POS procedures to ensure accurate and professional service.
- Manage stock, treatment consumables, retail products, purchasing, suppliers, and wastage within approved budgets.
Facility, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure the spa environment is beautifully presented, well-maintained, clean, and aligned with Earth & Skin brand standards.
- Maintain accurate operational records and provide regular performance updates and reports to the Director.
- Support approved marketing initiatives and local partnerships to build awareness and guest visitation.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality, team performance, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
Who We're Looking For:
Must-Have
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Spa, Wellness, Beauty, Hotel, Resort, or Hospitality operations, ideally as a Spa Manager, Assistant Spa Manager, or Spa Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of spa operations, treatments, guest service, and wellness standards, with proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a service-oriented team.
- Solid grasp of sales, upselling, and revenue generation, along with experience in staff scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and cost control.
- Confident and professional in handling guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with excellent communication in working with diverse teams and international guests.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, particularly during the pre-opening period.
Nice to Have (Will Set You Apart)
- Pre-opening experience in a spa, wellness, hotel, or hospitality operation.
- Background in five-star hotel or upscale hospitality management, reflecting Earth & Skin's premium positioning and clientele.
- Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, pre-opening environment.
- Professional presentation and a genuine passion for wellness, organic/natural products, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
What We Offer:
- Religious Holiday Allowance (THR)
- BPJS Health & Employment Coverage
- Meal Allowance
- Opportunity to be part of the pre-opening team and establish a new international wellness brand in Uluwatu, Bali
- A collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment with international standards
