Role Summary:
Our Sourcing Team provides support for regional and corporate projects. We are in contact with local, regional, and global finance and procurement teams to collaborate and innovate. Our services include collecting and analyzing company spend data and commercial sourcing management in order to achieve the best contractual conditions and best results for the company.
As a Sourcing Specialist, you're to manage the buying process for a given set of goods. You're to apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Understands concepts, methods, procedures, and approaches.
Essential Responsibilities:-
- Contribute positively to our HSE and Quality culture. Support the team with HSE and Quality reporting, as needed.
- Managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution, placing & following up on PO's
- Managing problems and schedule changes. Updating ERP data.
- Detecting and signalling flaws in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes and suggests improvements.
- Handling communication with colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis.
- Assisting in the continuous development of the Procurement function towards best practice
- Contributing project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete, and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months
Qualifications/Requirements:
- To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Diploma) with at least 2-3 years of experience in Sourcing).
- Be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal and leadership skills. Be a team player with ability to work independently.
- Demonstrate good problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and ERP/Oracle/SAP applications
