About the Role

We are looking for a Software Testing Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of our product applications. In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and cross-functional teams to test new features, identify issues, and support smooth product releases. This role is suitable for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys finding problems before they reach users.

What you will do

• Perform functional, integration, regression, API, web, and mobile application testing.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, test data, and test reports based on product requirements.
• Validate front-end functionality, back-end services, database results, and system behavior.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Review product requirements and provide QA feedback on potential risks, gaps, and edge cases.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other teams to support timely product delivery.
• Support release testing and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree from reputable top university major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing, quality assurance, or similar roles.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, defect tracking, and QA processes.
• Experience in functional testing, regression testing, API testing, and database validation.
• Strong SQL skills for data checking and issue investigation.
• Basic understanding of operating system concepts, web/mobile applications, and programming logic.
• Familiarity with Java or other programming languages is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Mandarin language proficiency.
• Experience in fintech, P2P lending, digital financial services, internet-based products, or high-transaction platforms.
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, Jira, Git, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Basic experience in automation testing or performance testing.
