Software Quality Assurance Engineer

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.

Responsibilities

1. Understand and master the business processes related to the application or system.
2. Create effective and comprehensive test plans and test scenarios covering various testing types and business requirements.
3. Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated testing.
4. Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
5. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure the system meets business and user requirements.
6. Design and implement test reporting to provide clear visibility of testing progress, results, and issues.
7. Identify, analyze, document, and follow up on defects or issues found during the testing process.
8. Collaborate and coordinate with developers, business users, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates with up to 2-3 years of experience are preferred.
• Good understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Understand the fundamentals of microservices testing.
• Able to create test scenarios and test cases and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong understanding of SQL queries and database testing.
• Good understanding of API fundamentals and API testing.
• Basic to intermediate experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with automated testing in real-world projects is a plus.
• Experience with Playwright and/or Supertest, particularly using TypeScript for UI and API testing, is highly preferred.
