About the Role
We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance who will play a key role in ensuring software quality across multiple projects. This role combines hands-on testing, quality analysis, and collaboration with engineering and business teams to deliver reliable software systems.
You will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and improving testing processes, while contributing to test strategy discussions and supporting continuous improvement in quality practices.
Depending on experience, the role may involve leading testing activities across projects, mentoring junior testers, and shaping testing standards within the team.

Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Strategy
- Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Identify quality risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on quality and testability.
Test Execution & Defect Management
- Perform manual testing and contribute to automated testing initiatives where applicable.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
- Maintain clear and structured test documentation and test data.
Collaboration & Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release preparation activities.
- Act as a quality advocate throughout the development lifecycle.
Process Improvement
- Contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and workflows.
- Support test automation initiatives where relevant.
- Promote a quality-focused mindset across project teams.
Team Support & Mentoring
- Mentor and guide junior testers where appropriate.
- Share knowledge and support team members in improving testing practices.
KPIs / Success Metrics
- Accuracy and completeness of test cases and test coverage
- Effective identification and tracking of defects
- Quality of test documentation and reporting
- Contribution to improved testing processes and automation
- Collaboration effectiveness with engineering and product teams
- Overall software quality and release reliability
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 25+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related IT roles
- Strong understanding of software testing techniques and test design methods
- Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test documentation
- Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Testflo)
- Good understanding of IT fundamentals (networks, operating systems, databases, virtualization)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple testing tasks and priorities across projects
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall development environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress
- Basic scripting experience for automation or testing support
- Experience defining test strategies or leading testing efforts in complex projects
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or modern QA tooling
- ISTQB certification (Foundation required, Advanced preferred)
