Software QA Engineer

Great customer experiences don't happen by accident—they're engineered. At Kopi Kenangan, we are looking for a Software QA Engineer to keep our mobile app, POS systems, and backend services reliable, robust, and ready for scale.

If you have 2–3 years of hands-on manual testing experience and love solving complex tech puzzles in a fast-paced environment, let's talk!

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2 – 3 years of QA experience in manual testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) and testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of retail POS systems testing is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and basic scripting/programming.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Role:

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for our POS systems, mobile apps, and backend services.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to ensure software meets business and user expectations.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using QA tools.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and operations teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in requirement reviews to define test coverage and improve QA processes.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and troubleshoot production issues.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and QA methodologies.
