Role Description The Software Engineer role at XIONCO is a full-time, on-site position based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and internal systems that support e-commerce, inventory management, and operational workflows. The Software Engineer will write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and operations to translate business needs into technical solutions. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, implementing integrations with third-party services, and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and system architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development and Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs and services.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) using at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, version control systems (e.g., Git), and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Ability to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and write unit and integration tests.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
• Experience or strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is an advantage.
