Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features and functionalities for web applications using React.
  • Implement user interface designs and translate UI/UX concepts into responsive and functional application components.
  • Collaborate with Backend Engineers, Product Managers, and UI/UX Designers to deliver solutions that align with business and user requirements.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following engineering standards and best practices.
  • Optimise application performance and contribute to delivering a smooth user experience across various devices and platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality and development practices.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to resolving frontend application challenges.
  • Learn modern web app development methodologies, tools, and best practices through mentorship and hands-on experience.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements within the product and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Be a final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of web application development fundamentals and JavaScript or TypeScript concepts.
  • Show interest in, or hands-on experience with, React through academic, personal, or extracurricular projects.
  • Understand fundamental concepts of state management and API integration, including RESTful services.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail when implementing user interfaces and user experiences.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and a strong willingness to learn through mentorship and feedback.
  • Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to frontend and user interface challenges.
  • Adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
