SkyCrunch provides trip planning solutions and instant cost intelligence for the aviation industry worldwide. Our intuitive map-based interface enables pilots, operators, and other aviation professionals to easily review fuel and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) costs at potential stops. By partnering with FBOs and fuel providers, we aggregate pricing and service availability data to give an accurate cost estimate.
Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end features for an interactive web application.
- Learn flight business domain problems to give insights on technical feasibility of a feature.
- Maintain database and infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experienced with C# / Java, JavaScript / TypeScript, and SQL.
- Familiar with (or be ready to learn) the tech stack: ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, PostgreSQL, React.JS with Next.JS or Vite.
- Understands basic UI design principles with experience in prototyping an MVP for review.
- Good understanding of software architecture and OOP principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willing to work on-site in Bandung, West Java.
Nice to have:
- Experience with spatial data / GIS (PostGIS, Spatial SQL, NetTopologySuite, LeafletJS, etc.).
- Experience with data visualization or interactive apps (D3.js, Three.js, Processing, p5.js, etc.).
- Exposure to cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practice.
- Knowledge of discrete optimization (vehicle routing, scheduling, knapsack, max flow, etc.).
- Prior working experience in flight business.
