About the Role
We're looking for a Software Engineer to help design and build AI-powered tools and systems that support our growing group of businesses. This role is hands-on - you'll be building the actual applications and integrations that bring AI into our daily operations, from internal automation to smarter workflows across business units.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain AI-powered applications and internal tools
- Integrate AI/LLM APIs (e.g. Claude, OpenAI) into business systems and workflows
- Develop automation solutions that combine traditional software engineering with AI capabilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines to support AI features (data collection, cleaning, structuring)
- Collaborate with different business units to identify where AI can solve real operational problems
- Test, evaluate, and iterate on AI features based on real-world performance and feedback
- Stay current with AI tools, frameworks, and best practices, and recommend what's worth adopting
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficient in at least one modern programming language/stack (e.g. Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into applications (chatbots, automation, data processing, etc.)
- Experience with workflow automation platforms (e.g. n8n, Zapier) is a strong plus
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, and version control (Git)
- Understanding of prompt engineering and working with LLMs in production settings
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on ambiguous, evolving problems
- Good communication skills — able to explain technical/AI concepts to non-technical colleagues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Willing or placement in Denpasar, Bali
Nice to Have
- Experience building AI products or features from concept to deployment
- Background or interest in machine learning fundamentals
- Experience in a scaling company or multi-business-unit environment
