Job Description

Responsibilities

Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Perform white box testing and black box testing to ensure code quality and functionality
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools (e.g., Cypress)
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Collaborate with internal teams (developers & product managers) to identify system requirements
Monitor debugging processes and analyze results
Investigate the root cause of issues and propose solutions
Track QA metrics (e.g., defect density, bug leakage, open defects)
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, frameworks, and strategies

Requirements

Background in Software Engineering / Computer Science / related field
Fresh graduates or candidates with internship experience are welcome, especially those with QA exposure
Prior experience in QA / Software Testing (Automation) is preferred
Familiar with programming (preferably Java)
Experience in building automation using Cypress or Robot Framework
Knowledge of Robot Framework is a plus
Hands-on experience in white box testing
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise, and structured test cases
Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Curious mindset and willingness to learn / explore new technologies
