Software Development Engineer in Test II

EagleView is looking for an experienced SDET Engineer to architect, design, develop, and deliver mission critical cloud-based at-scale testing services and applications. Ideal candidates will have worked as a SDET Engineer or in a similar capacity as part of a US-based high technology company developing highly scalable and reliable cloud services.

In this role, you will partner and collaborate with teams in both India and the US to build and expand EagleViews next generation of testing services that support various geospatial and 3D initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Functional
• Developing test suites with the goal to reach 100% functional coverage for our product
• Setting up and managing on-demand test environments
• Actively participating in Sprint and Program Increment (SAFE) ceremonies along with Engineering & PM teams
• Working with Development, PM, and QA teams across the USA, India & the Philippines.
• Documenting and maintaining the hygiene of Test Artifacts: Test Cases, Automation repos as applications undergo changes
• Providing Dev Team with detailed code-level debugging to pinpoint errors
• Driving maturity in test practices to bring efficiencies in release cycles
• Proactively reuse code through the extraction of software libraries or common services or components.

• Assist in the hiring process, including candidate interviews and new employee onboarding
• Support a software craftsmanship culture that emphasizes delivering high quality, enterprise-scale, extremely reliable software solutions
• Leverage frequent communication, both written and verbal, to ensure alignment and drive transparency with your team
• Operate and integrate seamlessly with a multicultural, global workforce
• Mentor and guide early career and less experienced team members as opportunities arise

Qualifications

• Functional
• 4+ years of professional experience in software testing development using Python, NodeJS, Golang, C#, C++, or any other modern programming language, whether object-oriented or functional, compiled or interpreted
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium, Puppeteer or other similar headless browser testing frameworks
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) with Jenkins or similar automation solutions
• Bachelors degree in computer science or related fields preferred
