Job Description

Role Overview:

The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that amplify the university's brand, engage current and prospective students, and foster a positive online community. This role requires a creative thinker with deep knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a track record of delivering impactful social media campaigns.
  • Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement social media strategies that align with the universitys brand and marketing goals.

Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).

Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, making data- driven decisions to optimize results.

Engage with followers, respond to comments, and build relationships with the online community.

Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices, ensuring the university remains at the forefront of digital engagement.

Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, admissions, and communications, to ensure social media efforts align with overall university objectives.

Manage social media advertising campaigns to boost reach and engagement.

Act as the university's social media brand ambassador, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone across all platforms.
  • Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist, Social Media Manager, or similar role, preferably in the education sector.

Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.

Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills with a creative flair.

Experience with social media advertising and managing paid campaigns.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

Passion for education and a deep understanding of the student audience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,
  • 00 - RM4,000.00 per month
