About Our Client
Our client is a leading TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) company specializing in mineral testing services. They are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead laboratory and testing facility operations at site level.
Job Description
- Manage day-to-day operations of laboratory and testing facilities on site.
- Lead, develop, and supervise a team of approximately 55 employees across 3 shifts.
- Ensure smooth 24/7 operational performance while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.
- Optimize laboratory workflows, resource allocation, and turnaround times.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality, Technical, and Commercial teams to achieve business objectives.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Laboratory Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Strong experience within the TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) industry, preferably in mineral testing laboratories.
- Hands-on experience managing laboratory operations and testing facilities.
- Proven ability to lead large operational teams in a shift-based environment.
- Experience managing 24/7 operations and driving operational performance.
- Strong leadership, people management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with laboratory quality, safety, and operational best practices.
